The Superfluous Snap Pipes the Veteran Lung

Every morning almost I see horses snorting steam
And you should look if you don't believe
A certain day that dropped the pride of a horse
When a dog snapped at its ribs in playing sport

The stomach lumped up and the horse collapsed
And not an ??? would move into lungs after that
Having a long stemmed pipe in my mouth
Shook out the ash and pushed the old wind out

In taking up this trait & having to clench
Its lips puckered out around five or six inch
In a talk to it as encouraging owners ???
It responded once asking to be re-shoed

As months continued its hide grew tanned
And with it the vocabulary began to expand
A regues? in taking it to a acting ???
In ???? passed off a puppet show of bread & hay

The highlight of some was ordering seeds
And asking to go into town it wanted to see [pride die]
The walk into town made the horse tired
But it stuck its head in the order shop before expired
I ordered seeds with saddened pride
And then went to the door to watch it die
